About

I'm Abby Shipley – a farmer, wife, and mom living in Ohio. I started The Ginger Hill Farmer as a way to share a first-hand point of view of life on the farm. It only seemed natural that I grew The Ginger Hill Farmer to include farm-themed graphic tees. I’ve spent my career in fashion, so it seemed like a natural fit to combine my love of farming advocacy with an assortment of tees that highlight the farm life. 

I love the way that graphic tees share our thoughts, beliefs and personalities, and connect us.  The tees in my shop are super soft, great-fitting, exclusive designs that I partner with two other women-owned small businesses to create.

As time has gone, the graphic tee assortment has evolved into a full Boutique.  I source unique, quality pieces that are specifically chosen to fit.  Comfortable fabrics and well-fitting garments are a must. All of the bottoms I offer in the boutique are mid to high rise and have a good amount of stretch without stretching out.  I also try to source from small businesses whenever I can.  I come from generations of small business owners and truly believe that small businesses are what make our communities thrive. 

Outside of the boutique I stay busy with our little girl, helping my husband with our farm and squeezing in some horseback riding time which is my true passion. If you follow me on social you know I also love spending time with our Black Lab, Lucy (my day-to-day side kick).
